Lothlorien. Niphredil was a white flower with a
pale green, slender stalk. The pale blossoms
glimmered like mist. Niphredil bloomed like
stars from the earth to greet the birth of
Luthien Tinuviel in the forest of Neldoreth in
Doriath in Beleriand. Niphredil also grew on
the slopes of Cerin Amroth in the heart of
Lorien. Luthien was said to be the most
beautiful elf to have ever lived in Middle
